On May 25, 2018, a common European law on the processing of personal data was introduced: GDPR. The purpose of the new Privacy Regulation is to strengthen the protection of personal data for you as a private individual.

The most important changes following GDPR is that you have the right to request corrections, deletions or access to your personal data that we have stored. You also have the right to object to and require limited processing of your personal data.

Personal information is any form of information that can be used to identify a physical person. This can be information such as name, pictures, contact information, social security numbers etc. We take responsibility for safe and adequate processing of your personal information, and that the processing is in compliance with both current data protection rules and our internal policies and procedures. You have the right to request access to your personal data stored with us, and the information will never be stored for longer than is necessary. Access requests must be addressed to the group CEO.

Your privacy is important to us. It is important to us that you feel comfortable and confident in how we process your personal information. That's why we have routines and systems in place that safeguard your personal information. We ensure that only those who process your personal information have access to it.

The personal information that is processed are the ones we need to follow up on our own employees, the payment of wages and contact information to customers/other interested partners. We have various suppliers of IT solutions and support systems that can access personal information. These are listed in a separate document for Data Processing Agreements. We may in some cases be are obliged to provide information to public authorities. Contact information may also be exchanged between the NorDan Group and our subsidiaries, customers and suppliers.

You have the right to require information deleted, but there may be important reasons for us to keep the information. The information is stored as long as the NorDan Group has a legitimate reason to.

Complaints about matters regulated by the Personal Data Act can be directed to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
