Olympic gold for Jakob Ingebrigtsen
NorDan congratulates Jakob Ingebrigtsen with the gold medal in the 1500 meters at the Olympics in Tokyo.
Since 2019, the NorDan Group has been a proud partner with Team Ingebrigtsen. Through several championships we have had the pleasure of following the brothers Henrik, Filip and Jakob Ingebrigtsen's journey towards new successes. With Jakob's fantastic performance from Tokyo that sealed the Olympic gold in the 1500 meters middle-distance race, a historic milestone has been reached.
No one is best on their own
Under the guidance of the runners' trainer and father Gjert Ingebrigtsen, the brothers have paved the way for new ways of performing individually based on a family and teamwork platform.
– In my lectures I always say that no one is best on their own. Everyone needs someone on the team who shares their dreams and takes co-responsibility for the result. Jakob may have crossed the finish line alone, but on his way he had good and invaluable help from many, said Gjert Ingebrigtsen.
Systematics and discipline
Good plans and high degree of execution are key to the Team Ingebrigtsen success. NorDan Group CMO Johannes Rasmussen, points to clear links between market leadning windows and doors and the efforts behind unique sports achievements.
– Both NorDan and Team Ingebrigtsen are characterized by "Perfect Interaction", where systematics and discipline are central elements. Over the last three years, I have many times met the whole family with Gjert, Filip, Henrik and Jakob at the helm, but also with Tone and her hometown Moi where we in NorDan are headquartered. They are all welcoming, very honest and positive.
An exciting future
The Olympic gold from Tokyo blends into a large number of small and large achievements carried out by NorDan-supported athletes, among them the the kayaker Eirik Verås Larsen's gold from the London Games in 2012. For the middle-distance runners in Team Ingebrigtsen however, the journey has just begun.
– Even if some dreams now have been fulfilled, there are still many dreams left, says Gjert Ingebrigtsen. In NorDan, we look forward to following Team Ingebrigtsen further on the road to new magical moments.
