NorDan celebrates prestigious award

The window manufacturer in Moi is the winner of the "Handlekraftprisen 2025". The award was presented by Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre earlier today.

Chairman of the Board Tore Rasmussen and CEO Dag Kroslid of NorDan Gruppen accepted the award during the Vestland Conference in Bergen.

A major recognition

In his acceptance speech, Kroslid emphasised the great recognition such an award represents for NorDan as a company, for all employees and for shareholders.

“It's fantastic to receive ‘Handlekraftprisen 2025’, as a clear confirmation of the development NorDan has had in Norway and internationally. It is also a recognition of our energy-efficient windows and doors, of which we deliver more than 600,000 to buildings in Scandinavia, the UK and Ireland every year”, said Kroslid.

“Being action-orientated has been one of the company's stated values for more than 15 years, and NorDan has shown great drive in its daily work and strategic development. We will celebrate the Award across the group, and take it with us into NorDan's 100th anniversary in 2026. Many thanks to Agenda Vestlandet, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, the Chamber of Commerce in the Stavanger region and everyone who voted for us”, Kroslid continued.

A core value

For chairman Tore Rasmussen, it makes a lot of sense that NorDan is being recognised for its pragmatism.

“Being action-orientated has characterised NorDan since the very beginning. We've always had owners as active employees in our day-to-day operations, which has probably also made it possible to shorten the path from idea to realisation”, said Rasmussen. He is supported by CMO Johannes Rasmussen:

"This is a great acknowledgement of many years of work and, not least, it recognises our vision of Perfect Samspill, said Rasmussen.
